Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Sacramento, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in Sacramento peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. In a nutshell; a great go-to spot for food and boba. They feature really good rice rolls as their main craft with 3 or 4 different options of the roll (at the time of this review), while also serving good boba and other food options , (popcorn chicken was great too). Always a pleasant time, staff is great, didn't take too long, food's always delicious. Overall, a great go to spot for food. (Downtown Sac. Parking is horrendous though).

Tasty treats and friendly staff! I had a coconut water smoothie with boba and a Dubai chocolate mochi and both were delicious. Would recommend.

Came here for lunch with my wife and honestly, Iβm really glad we did. Both the Tonkatsu roll and Classic Roll(Spam and Egg) tasted amazing. The nice lady that greeted us was so helpful and informative as well. If I could give this place a 6th star, I would. The mango green tea drink was really tasty. We will be back for more.

Ordered: tonkatsu purple rice roll, popcorn chicken, kumquat and lemon tea & fresh pineapple green tea. Super delicious! The drinks were refreshing and pairs really well with the food. Their purple rice roll was so amazing! It was packed full of tonkatsu, some veggie and even the sauce was tasty. Warning: it's very filling, come hungry. Wish they had a similar place down south.
